I saw your video on the Fox News website earlier today while at work. It absolutely broke my heart. I ended up coming to this website to learn more about your struggles and triumphs. You have seriously inspired me today to live every day to the fullest. You are so right in saying that no one knows how much time they have left. Thank you for reinforcing the concept of living every day like it's your last. I hope you and your family can find peace during this difficult time. I also hope that the time you do have left with your loved ones is enjoyed to the highest degree. My heart goes out to you.

I have went through all postings, and it's difficult to grasp with all the current technology that we still aren't any closer to helping people with this disease. It looks like the docs have attempted everything at least that I know of. I pray that you have peace with your life on earth, and I know that God is with you. I pray that God gives your family strength. God Bless you!

Sweet Dreams & Safe Travels
I just learned about you and watched your final video.
There are just no words one can say that wouldn't sound stupid or trite.
Know that you have touched others in a way no one else could and you will be kept in our prayers.
May you find a peaceful path onto your next adventure.

I read your last entry and my heart breaks for you and your family.
You are a brave soul and you put up a great fight. Your doctor was right, you won.

Eric ~ Thank you for letting me into your life a little bit.. I am a fellow H-D employee who learned about you from co-workers' comments on Yammer. I have been following you since March 2012. You are an inspiration. Because of you, I have signed up to become a bone marrow donor.... and I just received my acceptance letter this week. Peace be with you.

I saw your last video and was wishing I could meet you and talk to you before you pass on. My father and my sister-in-law both passed away from cancer.
I really wish you could know Jesus and know that you don't have to be scared and feeling hopeless. You can be at complete peace, knowing that God will lead you through this hard valley into eternal life in heaven where there is no pain or sorrow. Both my father and sister-in-law had asked God for forgiveness and surrendured their lives over to Him asking Him to be their Lord and Saviour. When each knew that his/her battle with cancer was ended and there was nothing more to do, they rested in the promises God gives us in the Bible for those who know and love Him. That is why Jesus came to die on the cross, to pay for the sins of mankind. We are all sinners, but God has made a way for us to escape our punishment because He loves everyone of us. There is no peace so great as the peace God gives us when we call upon Him. Please read the book of John especially John chapter 3. "God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him (Jesus) might be saved". I hope to see you in heaven someday, Eric. I know I will see my father and sister-in-law again...and that helps to lesson the pain of losing someone to death.

My dad passed away 11 years ago from AML. He fought hard as well. I think of him every day and now I will think of you too, Eric. THANK YOU so much for bringing this cause to so many people. Your life truly has a purpose and hopefully because of your efforts one day there will be a cure. I pray for God's blessings on you and your family.

This is the first time I've heard about your story and illness. I am so sorry that life is being cut short for you. I know it must be very hard. I just wanted to tell you that we all love you even if we haven't met you and that I will keep you in my prayers daily. Please try to remember that every day is a blessing although I know it must be hard because of the pain and fear. I'm so glad that you have a loving family, wife and friends with you. Peace and love to you also. Tracey

Music the Remedial Language of the BRain
Hey, I want you to read the information at PIanoLogic.com. We have explored new relationships between the music and the remedial ability of the brain. Are you still able to move your fingers across a piano keyboard? Send me your address and I will overnight the program to you for free. I don't know how much time you think you have, and I am not making any promises. But, kids have been accelerating from D- to 98% in math scores, the program is unbelievably simple, you can play the keyboard immediately, fluently, music is beautiful, and the Numeric Language of Music is showing signs of remedial capacity for people with brain disorders. Let me send you the program for free.
